The cost of a premium dog food:
At first glance, you may think our food is expensive.
If you dig a little deeper, you will find that it's actually comparable to many other so-called premium diets that can be purchased at your store. We purchase (& recommend) the XL bags which is an automatic 30% savings when compared to the small bags. Pets who are fed pawTree typically eat 20-30% less kibble compared to other brands. This is a testament to the highly digestible nutrition found in your pet's customized nutrition from pawTree. Long term good health saves so much money over the years! We feel that investment in high-quality dog food is well worth the cost.
If you would like to figure your cost, there are approximately 44 cups of food in a Regular sized bag, 88 cups in a large bag, and 132 cups in an Extra Large bag. At one cup per day, the Extra Large bag costs 49 cents per day. Our adult dogs eat anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4 cups per day to remain in peak condition.
Your puppy will probably eat 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup per day when they come home.
